This joint is Ooma&#8217;s go-to place for mellow music. She has been attending these (free!) concerts for years and knows most of the musicians who play there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We got there early, before the 3pm start of the concert, and stayed until the end (normally 6pm, but 6:30 on this occasion). I have to say that this was the best live music concert that I have attended in years. That isn&#8217;t saying much as I haven&#8217;t been to many live concerts lately, but this was <em>really <\/em>good. These guys know blues. It is not a band, <em>per se<\/em>, but a group of guys from other bands who regularly meet on Sunday afternoons to play blues. The bar is owned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.last.fm\/music\/Tommy+Lee+Cook\/+wiki\">Tommy Lee Cook<\/a> who is pretty famous in his own right, but that could be said of nearly every musician who plays or sings in this jam. Perhaps most famous is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bobby_Capps\">Bobby Capps<\/a>, keyboardist for .38 Special, who seems to make semi-regular appearances at &#8220;The Buck.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, it was an afternoon of fine music in the company of a fine woman. How could it get any better?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, the beers were just $5.
