We leave tomorrow to head down to Temecula. We are looking forward to the drive as sitting still for two months seemed unnatural after three straight months of travel. But it will be just two days of travel, then 3 to 4 more months of staying put.<\/p>\n

Although they haven’t said so, we believe the dogs are looking forward to the trip as well. Their life here at Coyote Valley RV Resort<\/a> has been pretty quiet, with just a few events to break the routine, the “routine” being:<\/p>\n

  1. Wake up and poop<\/li>\n
  2. Eat<\/li>\n
  3. Sleep<\/li>\n
  4. Wake up and poop<\/li>\n
  5. Eat<\/li>\n
  6. Sleep<\/li>\n
  7. Wake up and poop<\/li>\n
  8. Sleep<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This sounds pretty boring, but the fact is that it is not any more boring than their former life in Medford where the daily routine looked pretty similar.\u00a0 The things that break up their routine are:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Playing in the RV – either with me or with their toys.<\/li>\n
    2. Meeting other dogs at the dog park.\u00a0 And there are a lot of dogs here.<\/li>\n
    3. Taking a walk in the field behind the RV park.\u00a0 This is the only place where Grace can run off the leash and she loves that.<\/li>\n
    4. Going on road trips.\u00a0 I mentioned that I took them on my Monterey trip.\u00a0 I also took them on a 3-mile hike in Santa Theresa park, a Santa Clara county park just a few miles away.\u00a0 It was a slow hike because 3 miles is probably equal to the distance that Cha-Cha walked in the previous year.\u00a0 Cha-Cha is deeply committed to living a sedentary lifestyle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Anyway, this post is a good opportunity to share some of the dog photos that I have accumulated over the past two months.<\/p>\n
