We have booked a site for the summer season: Lamb City Campground<\/a> in Phillipston MA. This location is a bit further west than we would like – about an hour to North Andover and nearly an hour to Worcester – but it is close to Uncle Ray’s summer cabin in New Salem MA. It is also affordable – about half the price of any site we could get closer to Boston – and is highly rated.<\/p>\n

Unlike last year, we expect to spend the entire summer in MA. We might make a weekend trip somewhere, but mostly we will just reside in Phillipston. Because of this relative stability, I have signed up for summer softball.<\/p>\n

I intend to look for a part-time job, too. We have spent a LOT of money over the past 12 months, including the money we have spent on the April cruise that we have not yet taken, so putting a few bucks back in the coffers sounds like a good idea. We will be close enough to NH for me to look for a job up there, which will save me the hassle of filing MA state taxes next year.<\/p>\n

Since we sold the Yaris in December, we might have to buy a small, inexpensive car that we will probably just keep until we leave.<\/p>\n

We will be in MA until Labor Day, at a minimum, but might stay longer. Maybe into October. We’ll see.<\/p>\n

We have also made plans for the trip north and where we will stay next winter in Florida. I will tell you about those plans soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
