Banana-like seed pods<\/p><\/div>I was doing some site cleanup yesterday – removing dead fronds from our palm shrubs – and noticed that they are all “flowering”.\u00a0 Not that a palm produces flowers, but they all go through a reproductive phase.\u00a0 Some had pollen-covered “antlers” growing from their stems.\u00a0 But one had pods of what looked like bananas, split open to reveal thousands of little white pearls.\u00a0 Seeds?\u00a0 Don’t know, but maybe I will research it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
